“Geometry Tests are Fun!” - Once They’re Over

Thanks to those of you who prayed for and thought of me yesterday. The test went much, much better than I had expected!
I did run a bit tight on time, and wasn’t able to go through the last question too thoroughly (I got it wrong :P), but I was confident about everything else. Definately an answer to prayer!
Now it’s on to my Physics final exam!

The first Youth Group of the semester was last night. It’s great to have that going again.
We’re starting a new course this semester, on other Worldviews: Secular Humanism, Marxist-Leninism, and Cosmic Humanism (the ism’s). Today it was saying that many Christians have withdrawn from the ’secular’ arenas of politics and education, causing a major decline in society’s morality. We, as Christians, need to view all aspects of life as related to our faith, and not shy away from influencing culture.
Some interesting stuff to think about…

Ah, the isms. We went through those in my religion class last year.
Makes sense what your saying, I s’pose I’ve just never really thought about it.

Great job on the test! I’m convinced that Geometry is evil, pure evil.

Those classes sound interesting, but tough. I discovered last night that Northwest offers a Tolkien class but it’s only for the adult learning program. It isn’t offered to the traditional students yet. I’m praying that it will be next year. :)

Haha, look at the new flag it gives you, Stephen.
I’ve liked Geometry in the past, but this year it’s been hard to wrap my head around…

Dan, part of the reason your comments weren’t working is that I have to approve comments whenever someone new comments. So, it shouldn’t cause problems from now on, since you’re on the ’safe list’.

  14. Hey Trev, does the ’safe list’ work via cookies or via email address punched into form or what?

I would assume that it’s based on the name, email, and possible URL matching, but I don’t really know. It seems to be catching Dan’s comments, and I don’t know why. Is he switching computers or something?

  16. No, he comments only from his computer in firefox, not switching browsers or computers… I comment from my computer AND the laptop, however…
