Well hello there!  May I inquire as to what you’re doing here?

It’s Wednesday.  After Youth Group.  22:21.  October 26, 2005. Yeah.

So the last time I posted was the 14th.  26 - 14 = 12 days.  Still trying to break records, you know.

Some things that have happened.

And if you don’t know who that is…it ain’t me.

My sister found a bird in the garden.  She named it Rose.  It was cute.  She had fun with it.

It died.

Ok, so I’m in a weird mood…did you notice?

In other news…I started a blogger just to try out their service, it’s pretty awesome.  You could check out my awesome layout if you feel like it.  On second thought, check it out even if you don’t feel like it.  http://zedlander.blogspot.com.  Leave a comment on my insightful posts.

I’ve been thinking lately that I might get an iPod nano…

What do you think?  Should I get it?  If so, black or white?
I’d read that it was only 1.5 ounces, and I wanted something to compare that too.  I knew that a paperclip weighs one gram.  A simple google calculation told me that the iPod nano weighs as much as this:

Well, that’s all I have time and brainpower for, I already lost half this post when the power went off, and it really isn’t much fun trying to reconstruct it from memory.

And the pictures from our party are here!
Sorry for the delay, your patience will be rewarded.
To start off, I’ll show you a picture of the whole group, decked out inour Canada gear!  YES!  We were all feeling very patriotic(aka. anti-American )

The rest of the pics are just of random people of the group…so first,I’ll give you a bit of insight into what we spent the evening doing.

As soon as everyone had arrived, we sat down and ate genuine pumpkin pie!  It was so good!
The whipped cream was a nice treat too.
We also did a family tradition, where we put a piece of corn by everyperson’s plate.  (Daniel and Janelle ate theirs, oblivious of thesymbolic value with which these seemingly unimportant corn bits wouldbe imbued.)  Then, a bowl was passed around, and each person hadto say something they were especially thankful for, and then drop theircorn in, with a little ‘plink’.  Really brings the focus to Thanksgiving.

More serious matters aside, we retired to the living room, where weproceeded to indulge our national pride by watching Molsen beercommercials.
Interim
I just found out I don’t have to write a 1-page paper on the differenceof 1d and 2d arrays in Java!  I might even have a bit of aweekend…
end of interim
So, those commercials…Molsen has the funniest ads ever, andincredibly Canadian, with messages such as “Americans don’t knowanything”, “Beavers rule”, and “Hockey is the greatest sport on earth.”
If you have the urge to enjoy these as well, you can find them all at: http://www.canada4life.ca/videos.php

Then we played 4 on a couch, with a white team and a red team (Canada’scolours, you know?)  and my team won…of course

What else did we do…oh yeah!  Sang an impromptu, accapellaversion of the hit single “You are my Cheeseburger” by Mr. Lunt.

That was pretty much it, so here are the pictures of the people!
Notice the streaks of paint on some people’s cheeks, those were from the game

This is my calculator.  His name is Archibald.

Life’s going fine, school’s taking a lot of time, other stuff’s going well…not a whole lot to say.
I played guitar at Youth Group on Wednesday and it went the best that it’s gone so far

Tomorrow we’re having a Canadian Party for Canadian Thanksgiving!  It should be a lot of fun, I’ll try and write a big entry after that alright?
