Today was a lot of fun!! I spentmost of the morning and afternoon working on the computer more, tryingto get even more stuff set up, including picture/xanga stuff. Ifound this awesome program made by Google, called Picasa.It’s free image-managing software which rocks 
I thinkI shall officially use it for all my photos. Which of course isgood for you because that’s why you’re here anyways right? And inanticipation of the aforementioned pics you probably aren’t evenreading this. Which makes me think of the End-User LicenseAgreement things that you’re supposed to read whenever you installsoftware… I wonder if there are any geeks out there who actually readthem 
I occasionally skim em, but not being of the lawyerpersuasion, “It’s all ‘greek’ to me!” If I ever make a piece ofsoftware, I think I’ll put a toll-free number in the middle of all thatmumbo-jumbo, and if anyone calls it, give them $10 or something.
I finally (sorta) found a way to resize the pictures, and now I canupload them!! So you shall not be dissapointed. As you may know,this afternoon we had planned at trip to MagicLand, and it didhappen. Darren and I got there, waited for a few minutes and werejoined by Leah and Amanda before waiting 20 minutes expecting at leastanother 6-8 people. Turned out that three, Katie, Sasha andPurity were inside the park already, going on the rides…without us! 
So rude. 
We ended up only being 8 people, but it was still a ton of fun! In some ways the smaller group was better…we were able to go on ridestogether etc. Unfortunately, Sarah, who had the initial idea, couldn’t make it at the last minute.
The first thing we did was go on the Ferris Wheel, and it gave us agreat view not only of the park, but also of all of Dakar! Showshow flat things are, since the Wheel was only about… I’d say 50-60feet high.

I wanted to get a picture of each person posing with one of the statuesaround the park, and I got most of them…and then my batteries keptdying which was really annoying since I wrote myself a note to rechargethem, and I did…and they still died! I think Katie sabatogedit…right Katie? Anyways, here’s Katie with her escort.

By the way, I find it quite interesting/funny how girls are sophotophobic I mean, I just move my camera around thetable, and they all either try to duck under the table, or stick theirhead in a backpack! It’s not that bad…

So that was MagicLand! We were really late getting out…likealmost an hour, my poor dad was waiting outide that whole time! We had told him we’d be late though, and he was very accomadating.
Well that’s it for tonight, twas a long entry. This is my last week of holidays now…school fast approaching.
