Today was a very good day 
We had our morning “church service” at home, just talking through somestuff my dad had been reading, and praying together. It’s awesometo have a family that can do that kind of thing together!
I went out for lunch with Katie, Maggie, Michael and Darren, and we had fun making fools of ourselves

I got this cheese pasta dish that looked good on the menu, but ended upbeing full of Blue Cheese!!! Yuck. Not one I’ll order again
Then straight from there, Darren and I took a taxi to our mission’scentre for our monthly meeting. Because I was playing the guitarfor it, I had brought it along to the restaurant, and got some weirdlooks walking in the door with it! My playing went really well,it was the first time I’d done it in front of anyone but myfamily. The whole evening thing was done very well, the music wasgood, and they had several small symbolic activities rather than asermon. One was picking a stone to represent something you werestruggling with and placing it at the foot of the cross. And wealso wrote things we were thankful for on paper “stones” to make apile. I put music because I love prasing God with music
Then we had a barbeque together, and Jonathan, a Brit and I had a hilarious verbal exchange that went on for about twenty minutes. It was a battle of wits, and we were both speaking in Old English, metrying my best to put on a British Accent. It went something likethis:

Me, a fool! You underestimate me, oh friendly enemy!
*both crack up*

etc, etc, for 20 minutes. Great fun!
I also found some scary old pictures of me, so I thought I’d post oneseeing as I specialise in making myself look like an utter fool 
Thank goodness I don’t look like that anymore!
