Hey people,
Last night we had the longest powercut that we’ve had in a while, atleast 8 hours!  Seeing as that kept me from going on the computer andthe internet (horror of horrors), I was forced to find other ways toamuse myself.  I went up to my room with two candles, and sat downwith my guitar, played for a while, and then I wrote a song!  It’snot that great, but it was a lot of fun!  As Darren put it: “Let’sjust say the words are better than the music.”   I mightpost the words sometime later, once I’ve got it a bit morepolished.  But I will tell you that it’s based on the passageMatthew 25:34-40.

And now it’s time for Stupid Things that Trevor Does!!  Aren’t youexcited?  Because of the candles last night I had the box ofmatches sitting up in my room.  I have now learned that box ofmatches + Trevor = trouble  I had the urge to burn some stuff, so I put a Kleenex in a plasticdish-thing-with-sides and lit it.  No problem.  Then I startadding old matches.  A bit bigger, but still no problem. Then the plastic starts to melt.  I think “Wow, that’s awesome, let’s make it melt to cover everything inside!”  *Adds 2 moreKleenexes and a bunch of matches*  Suddenly, I have aproblem.  I learned a new scientific fact.  Plastic burns.
Yeah.
So the Kleenex is just about gone, and the fire keeps on burning, and Itry blowing it out, and Rachel is there watching me, and my mind wentblank.  In my 20-20 hindsight I should have pushed it out into ourtiled courtyard below where it could have damaged nothing, but no, Ihad to leave it sitting on my painted windowsill.  I tell Rachelto get away, grab a plastic hairspray cap and sprint to the bathroom toget some water.  I slip on the wet floor and slide into the sink, knocking it against the wall and cracking a large chunk off ofit!  I get water, sprint back to my room and douse the roaringblaze… ok, so it was 1 flame 2 inches high  And it all ended happily.  Whew.  *Makes a mental note neverto burn something in a plastic container*  The result:

Now I must be off, for the library and beyond… Trevor is seen flying off into the distance.
